Scorpio is one of the three astrological signs in the group that, unusually, show groups of women outside the circles, at the top, stacking “incomplete” circles on top of the astrological wheel. This feature is also included at the end of the series in Scorpio and Sagittarius; and the number of women reduces from 5 in Gemini to only four in Scorpio and Sagittarius. So here we encounter an overarching symbolism, some greater principle at work. We can furthermore assume the principle is a higher or more heavenly one due to the manner in which the presiding women appear above the astrological wheel.

Let’s keep in mind that these women are a part of the thirty figures representing the thirty calendar days in each sign; they’ve merely been relocated.

I would argue this means the women in these sections represent not stellar but heavenly entities, that is, forces above the stars. Looking at these images as a group, I believe they indicate a feature that hasn’t been discussed yet; and that is a directional flow in each image, moving towards the center, as in the example below:
